Imagine…

Imagine, that there is a knock on your door, tomorrow morning after Fajr…

Imagine, that soon after that knock, your door comes crashing down…

Imagine, 10 armed men storm through your house, destroying your lovely fine china…

Imagine, they grab your son, brother, or your father and throw him to the floor…

Imagine, what your mother, wife or sister feel as they’re forced to look on…

Imagine, the shouts and screams as the truncheons come crashing down…

It may be difficult for you to imagine… but for some it has become a reality… it may well be a reality for you tomorrow… No? It can’t happen to you?... oh how naïve you are… but let’s not stop there…

Imagine, the morale boost you get when you hear people are working for your freedom…

Imagine, the feeling of knowing so many people care…

Imagine, the hard work it must have taken to organise such campaigns…

Imagine, the hope he feels when the big day comes…

Imagine, the feeling of despair as a meagre 100 or 200 people turn up…

Is this difficult to imagine too? Well it shouldn’t be… O Muslims, this is our state today… we all talk the talk but who is actually doing something? Where is this unity we talk of? When we realise that the next Babar Ahmad or Rachid Ramda is from our house it may well be too late…

Imagine, one last thing, O dearest Brother or Sister…

Imagine, what you will say on that Day, the Day when you are asked, “O my servant, what did you do for your Brothers Rachid, Babar and the others?”

Imagine, how you will feel as you await that Judgement….

~moshyman 1st June 2005

“Allah will say on the Day of Judgment, ‘O son of Adam, I was sick and you did not visit Me.’ He will say, ‘O my Lord, how could I visit You, when you are the Lord of the Worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me there?’

Allah will say, ‘O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not.’ He shall say, ‘O my Lord, how could I feed you and you are the Lord of the Worlds?’ And Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was in need of food and you did not feed him? Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found that to have been for Me?’

‘O son of Adam, I asked you for water and you did not give Me to drink.’ The man shall say, ‘O my Lord, how could I give You water, when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’ Allah will say, ‘My servant so-and-so asked you for water and you did not give him to drink water. Did you not know that if you had given him to drink, you would have found that to have been for Me.’ "
