I Pray everyone is in the best of health and eemaan on this wonderful jummah day. Islam's basic structure is the five pillars, two in which muslims are frequent in. But there are other obligations muslims are commited to practise, but they are forgotten once one finds himself in a certain situation, country, lifestyle. Islam is not for a specific country, people, lifestyle or status, but for all mankind and jinn. So doing good and keeping to the commands o Allah is not obligatory for those only living in a muslim country, a muslim community, or for those staying at home, but for each and everyone of us, no matter where we are! You are a Muslim no matter where you are! In any given situation, one's lifestyle should work around Islam, not the other way round. And no matter how bad things get it is only a Jihaad, so struggle in the way of Allah, and that is where the true success lies. Salah is not only for when one is in the masjid, or on Friday. Fasting is not only for Ramadhan. Zakat is not only for when one enters the masjid, or during Eid, and Sadaqah is not only giving money when one feels. In fact Sadaqah can be given in many ways, even a smile. So these acts should be done on any permitted day, on any permitted time. So brothers and sisters, once Ramadhan has left, i urge you not to fall into the traps and tricks of shaytaan, by leaving the extra nafil prayers, and the extra Qur'an reading, or even the long nights in prayer, but to continue out of the pleasure of doing good, and knowing that it will help you in the Akhirah. May Allah bless everyone, keep us on his path, and have mercy on us all.
