Witnesses Every move you make, every step you take, every word you say and every deed you do is being monitored and recorded. There is no place you can hide, no darkness to protect you; no one will come to your aid, Your trial will begin soon And The Witnesses will testify.... Who are the witnesses you ask? Allah Whether ye hide what is in your hearts or reveal it Allah knows it all. He knows what is in the heavens and what is on earth. And Allah has power over all things.” (Qur’an 3:29) The Quran On the authority of Abu Malik Al-Harith bin Asim Al-Ashari said that the messenger of Allah said: "Purity is half of faith. alhamdu-lillah [Praise be to Allah] fills the scales, and subhana-Allah [How far is Allah from every imperfection] and alhamdu-lillah [Praise be to Allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth. Prayer is light; charity is a proof; patience is illumination; and the Quran is an argument for or against you. Everyone starts his day and is a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or bringing about its ruin." (Related by Muslim). The Angels There are many ayahs and hadiths mentioning the angrls witnessing our deeds, from the angels who record the names of those who attend the Jummah early to the very angels that accompany us at all times [Not a word does he (or she) utter except that there is watcher near him, ready (to record it).] (Qur’an 50:18) The Inanimate objects The walls, around you, the ceilings the doors the very Earth you’re standing on When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- On that Day will she declare her tidings: For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. (Qur’an 99:1-5) and lastly Your own Body On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions. On that Day God will pay them back (all) their just dues, and they will realise that God is the (very) Truth, that makes all things manifest. (Qur'an 24:24-25) At length, when they reach the (Fire), their hearing, their sight, and their skins will bear witness against them, as to (all) their deeds. They will say to their skins: "Why bear ye witness against us?" They will say: "God hath given us speech,- (He) Who giveth speech to everything: He created you for the first time, and unto Him were ye to return. "Ye did not seek to hide yourselves, lest your hearing, your sight, and your skins should bear witness against you! But ye did think that God knew not many of the things that ye used to do! (Qur’an 41:20-22) So remember this the next time you sin, thinking no one can see you. and also remember this the next time you do good deeds in secret and feel the urge to show off and tell others.
